4,000 people want to see you at the parade!

Each year the Barnesville Potato Days Festival attracts over 20,000 people from across the region, state and nation. One of the highlights is always the parade, with upwards of 170 units! All along the parade route thousands of people pack the sidewalks and street ... here’s your chance to get in on the action.

To insure your position in the parade, please complete this parade registration form [download in pdf] and return it as soon as possible. Response is appreciated prior to August 15th.

We will mail to confirm your application ONE WEEK BEFORE THE PARADE and include a parade route map, line-up info, directions to the line-up area and our parade rules, one of which is that nothing may be thrown from vehicles, but candy and other items may be walked along the parade route.

With a full day of activities scheduled throughout Saturday, we invite you to arrive early to take in the fun and festivities starting with a Potato Pancake Breakfast at 7:00 AM and wrapping up with a Street Dance beginning at 9:00 PM!
