Every
five and six year old that enters the Miss Tator Tot contest is
a winner. Every contestant receives a participation trophy and
a chance to ride on the float during the Parade on Saturday at
5:30 p.m.
Prior to the pageant, the young girls take part in the information
session and interviews. At this time, they are judged on poise,
general knowledge, manners and responses.
The pageant takes place on the Main Stage
on Friday at 6:00 p.m. This time the girls model a “potato sack” creation
and a party dress. They are judged on originality, poise, grace,
smile and presentation.
CONTEST RULES
Contestants must be 5-6 years of age as of September 1, 2010 and live within
a 20 mile radius of Barnesville. Judging is based on an interview, as well
as modeling of "potato sack" attire and party dress.
PRIZES
All contestants will receive a participation trophy, while the
first place winner receives a crown, sash, flowers and trophy;
along with the honor of being Miss Tator Tot for the upcoming
year. All contestants will also get to ride in the Potato Days
Parade.

There is a $10.00 registration fee to participate. Deadline
to enter is August 1st. The event is held at 6:00 PM on Friday during
the Festival.
