The Potato Days Board is pleased to provide once again the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament as an official Potato Days Festival event. The basketball tourney, which originally started as an alternative festival activity for the youth in the community has blossomed into one of the most popular Potato Days events. Previous years have seen teams traveling from across the region, including Hawley, West Fargo, Wahpeton, Crookston, Detroit Lakes, Fargo, Moorhead, Pelican Rapids and Barnesville.

There are three grade-level divisions for boys and girls. Grade levels are 4th Grade through 9th Grade completed in 2010 school year. Game times and rules will be distributed prior to the tournament. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND DUE BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 20TH!

The girls' tournament is played on Friday of the festival beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Barnesville High School gyms. A coaches meeting begins at 4:30 p.m.

The boys' tournament will be played on Saturday beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Barnesville High School gyms. A coaches meeting will begin at 7:45 a.m.

PRIZES
Champions and runner-ups in each division will receive commemorative 3 on 3 Potato Days t-shirts.

The deadline for the 3 on 3 Basketball is Friday, August 20, 2010. The cost is $55.00 per team. To enter, complete official registration form above. Register early, only eight (8) teams are allowed in each division.
