The
popular Potato Cook-Off is a festival favorite for contestants
and “spec-taters” alike! The 2010 category is Potato
Horsd'oeuvres. This category is sure to bring out some secret family
recipes! Prepared recipes will compete for “bragging rights” and
some great prizes.
The audience has a chance to taste the
wonderful entries and place their vote for the coveted “People’s Choice Award.” Recipes
from prior years are featured in the Potato Days Souvenir Recipe
Packet which can be purchased during the festival or on the website.
The Cook-Off will be held on Friday at 5 PM in air-conditioned
Hildebrand Hall, next to Assumption Catholic Church.
The 2009 Potato Cook-Off was another success. Several participants
prepared some fabulous Potato Breads. These recipes will be for
sale during the Festival to add to your Cookbook.
